A business innovator with an artist's soul
Dan founded HILL IMPACT in 2012, a firm that helps high-profile people and brands fulfill their purpose and navigate crises. He's the most quoted expert on crisis and reputation, featured on PBS, NPR, NBC and publications such as the New York Times.
KILLER OSTRICH tells stories grounded in truth, through film and other media. Dan's first award-winning documentary in 2000 featured Emmy and Golden Globe winning actor Edward James Olmos. Most recently he produced a documentary for Rolling Stone with friend and colleague Frank Marshall (Raiders of the Lost Ark; Jurassic World; Bourne Identity).
Dan's passion for art started in elementary school. His parents are both talented artists and over his life he's experimented with numerous mediums, from photography to painting. He's working on two mixed-media series now for a show in Miami in 2022.
An avid writer, Dan has two books coming out in 2022, one on a time-management approach he created and the other an illustrated children's story about a boy's journey to happiness.
He keeps homes in Miami and in the Blue Ridge Mountains of West Virginia.
